Latin Music Awards – VR Red Carpet Experience
The idea, was to follow Reggaeton Super Star, Wisin, on his journey to the “Latin American Music Awards” LIVE from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
At the venue, influencer, Christian Acosta took fans on an exclusive 360° virtual tour of the purple carpet. As they walked the carpet, fans got a first-hand look of what it’s like to walk the purple carpet like a star!
In an interview on the purple carpet, Wisin discusses his experience creating the 360° VR videos and encouraged fans to catch his 360° VR livestream of his performance which closed the Awards Show.
In addition, for the first time, an actual Toyota Camry made an appearance on the carpet and took part in the 360° video.
We used the GoPro Fusion to capture and post360° content in realtime during the live broadcast of the show. The camera was integrated into the dress design of a real life “360 Girl”.
